About the Role
Our West Moreton Community Care Service, based in Booval, is seeking Part Time Personal Care Workers and Support Services Workers to join their friendly teams and assist clients to remain independent and comfortable in their own homes. Each day is different in these diverse and vital roles. As a Personal Care Worker, you will be providing quality assistance with a range of activities of daily living to your clients, including hygiene and grooming, shopping, respite, cooking and preparing meals and other domestic assistance. As a Support Services Worker, you’ll be assisting our clients with domestic cleaning duties.
We’re looking for passionate and professional workers with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our clients. You’ll ideally have experience in a community care setting, with a focus on providing personal and domestic support services to aged and disability clients. Our successful applicant will require highly developed interpersonal skills and be capable of maintaining professional boundaries with clients and their families.
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Certificate III in Aged Care/Disability Services or equivalent (personal care Workers only);
- A current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate;
- A current open QLD Driver’s Licence and access to your own reliable transport;
- Positive Prescribed Notice (Yellow Card);
- Current Positive Notice (Blue Card) for Child Related Employment issued by The Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian;
- A National Police Certificate at your expense or be eligible to receive one prior to commencing.
